Unless otherwise specified, SmartClient and Smart GWT packages only require a JDK (version 1.7 or later) for immediate use and development of end-to-end examples and prototypes. You can grab a JDK here. If you're using a 64-bit OS, be sure to grab the 64-bit version of the JDK.
Each download is self-contained. Do not mix resources from Smart GWT and SmartClient packages.
